CARDIAC
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM (EKG)
PMX offers Electrocardiograms (EKGs) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

A 12 lead electrocardiogram will be performed by a technologist and the tracing will be given to your facility.
The EKG will then be reviewed by a board certified, state licensed cardiologist.

EKGs are used to determine abnormalities with the atria and ventricles, electrical conduction problems, arrhythmias, ischemia and myocardial infarction.
A technologist will connect the Holter Monitor to examine a patient's cardiac cycle for a continuous period of time, typically 24 - 48 hours.
When technologist returns to remove the device, the information retrieved will then be interpreted by a board certified, state licensed cardiologist.
This examination can be used to determine arrhythmias and heart blocks.
