Ultrasound Services

GENERAL ULTRASOUND
An Ultrasound study’s accuracy and quality are reliant upon the sonographer’s experience and equipment used. Our service offers your patients the most advanced digital portable ultrasound utilizing state of the art equipment. All sonographers are ARDMS and/or RVT registered or registry eligible. They have many years of experience in their specialty and have undergone extensive training on the system that they use to provide imaging for your patients. All procedures are interpreted by board certified radiologist.

General ultrasound procedures include abdominal, pelvic, renal, breast, testicular, thyroid and soft tissue. Ultrasound services are available on a scheduled basis. Some ultrasound studies require patient preparation prior to examination. Please inquire when scheduling if a prep is needed.

VENOUS / ARTERIAL DOPPLER
Our service offers your patients the most advanced digital equipment and the highest qualified sonographers. Dopplers are beneficial for evaluation of deep vein thrombosis, stenosis, plaque formation, ischemia and occlusion. All procedures are interpreted by board certified radiologists and/or cardiologists. Preliminary reports are available upon completion of the examination.

ECHOCARDIOGRAMS
Highly qualified and experienced sonographers use digital state of the art equipment to perform echocardiograms. Echocardiogram is an ultrasound to visualize the heart and major cardiac vessels. Echocardiography is used to evaluate cardiomyopathy, endocarditis, pericardial effusion, cardiac valve stenosis or regurgitation, atria or ventricle abnormalities and wall or muscle damage. All procedures are interpreted by board certified radiologists and/or cardiologists.
